These are my very special wall hangings. These are often very large-scale fabric collages, stitched, layered, painted and textured. These textile works are a little like paintings in fabric, they are inspired by the natural world.

I begin each piece by taking photographs and making studies, then progress to make a series of fabric samples, which lead me into the final piece. I use a wide range of wonderful delicate, top quality fine silks and cottons, often many layers of cloth, paint and stitching go into making the final piece, which can take me up to six months to complete.
