The Festival of Quilts
This festival is the most eagerly anticipated event in the patchwork and quilting calendar, anywhere in Europe. A massive, spectacular gathering, held in three halls of the National Exhibition Centre (N.E.C.) in Birmingham, UK.
It will run from 16th-19th August in 2012, showing an array of special exhibitions - traders - organizations, sharing information - competition quilts - teachers booths - ‘hands on’ studio activities - workshops and lectures, all housed under one roof!
The whole event is run jointly by The Quilters' Guild of The British Isles, and Twisted Thread/Creative Exhibitions.
